Chanel was born in August 1883. She was the first Native French who brought out
corsets and uncomfortable garments in the marketing industry for woman to wear.
She was a true visionary and a rebel who loved to wear clothes that comforted
her style and body. “Coco” Chanel brought out the first cardigan which was the
first originator of woman’s sportswear; her design of clothes gave women’s
style of clothing the freedom and self-expression without the sacrifice of
modesty. In 1920 her signature fragrance “the incredibly ironic Chanel No5” was
launched which still remains popular till this day. In 1925 “Chanel suits” was
launched. Coco Chanel died in Paris at the Ritz Hotel in 1971, instead Karl
Lagerfield has been the designer of Chanel ever since.
Today Chanel is the number one top designer of the fashion industry worldwide, for Chanel is offering more in the market than it did in the 20th century. Everyone from ordinary people, to high class, including celebrities wears Chanel designed clothing..
