Valentino Garavani Top #4
Valentino Garavani was born in northern Italy in 1932. He
was interested in fashion from childhood. Valentino was offered apprenticeships
and training from family and other designers. After getting fired from a luxe
dressmaker in Paris for being carefree and holidaying too long, Valentino began
to design his own clothing under his own name. In 1959, he opened his first
shop in Rome’s Via Veneto. Valentino was known for his dramatic and femininity
gowns that woman’s enjoyed to wear which became his signature designs. Valentino
Garavani was awarded the Legion d’Honneur in 2006 from France’s President
Chirac.
Valentino Garavani’s sense of style is very unique and
delicate. Valentino shows his art through his fashion shows and his designers.
Valentino’s clothing, dresses, purses, accessories, jewelleries, and shoes are
very artistic and tends to stand out more than any other clothing because it’s
a design to die for. In a crowd of fashion, Valentino’s work stands out the
most out of all the designers.
“I am like a freight train. Working on the
details, twisting them and playing with them over the years, but always staying
on the same track.”
-Valentino
